COLOR! 12/16/2011
Recently I have noticed that there are several blogs and websites popping up that are focused primarily on wedding color combinations. Choosing the right color combination is SOOOOO important. Color sets the mood of your wedding and drives the whole look. Here is one of my favorite blogs that I have come across that is user friendly and has some great visuals! Check it out! The Perfect Palette Blog Add Comment Succulents 12/03/2011
This post I thought I would combine two things that I really love. Succulent wedding bouquets and Pinterest! I love the word succulent. It sounds so......succulent and lavish. I love all of the texture that it gives to a bouquet. There are some great color combinations and they can take on a variety of feelings depending on what it is combined with it. It can be very earthy, beachy, or colorful to name a few. Check out my board on my new love Pinterest to see my collection of bouquets with succulents. Here are a couple of my favorites. NACE Meeting Centerpieces 11/16/2011
This month our NACE meeting (National Assoc. of Catering Exec.) was hosted by Joanie at the Westin. Events in Bloom provided some of the fall themed centerpieces for the meeting. The array of beautiful linens were provided by Got You Covered. Can't wait to see Carrie Wildes Photos so will have some beautiful photos from the event! Clearwater Hilton Wedding 11/12/2011
What a great day with Mary Reischmann from the Clearwater Hilton. This was a destination wedding for an out of town bride and her family! Betsy chose a yellow and silver palate of colors using everything from Sunflowers to Cymbidiums. They loved flowers and gave us some creative freedom to create an unforgettable day! We repurposed several items from the flower engulfed wedding at the reception and created our own flower "ball wall" behind the cake table. Brian Idocks was the photographer and we can't wait to see his photos! Also making the day special was Diana from Cafe Ala Cart and Four Monkey's Candy Connection located right there on Mandalay Drive. A big thank you to my crew that day who made this look easy. Just got some photos in of a wedding on 9/10/11 at Tampa Palms Golf and Country Club in Tampa. They are such gorgeous photos and a beautiful bride, I had to share one! The photos were provided by Maria Angela Photography. Not too long ago we featured one of my favorite floral designers, Mandy Majerik of Hothouse Design Studio. Well, today Mandy was named Mayesh's (a wholesale floral company) newest Design Star! What an honor for Mandy! It could not have happened to a more deserving person! Check out the announcement on the Mayesh website! Post Card Inn Bride! 10/21/2011

Also a special shout goes out to Heather Stewart from Stylish Traditions for making this event at the Post Card Inn so special. Fall wedding bouquet 10/19/2011
This is one of our bouquets from the weekend at Eastlake Woodlands Golf and Country Club I love FALL! Ideas for Hunter's Green indoor weddings 10/19/2011
When I was asked to help Hunter's Green feature their indoor wedding space I jumped at the chance. I love the opportunity to do whatever I want! For the ceremony we started with one of our rose petal patterns (we love to do these!) and created unique ceremony decor with our new lanterns! What fun. We then moved to the cake table to feature our "garden under glass". The guest table incorporated a plush centerpiece with green irredescent sequins on the vases and a rock pattern on the table. We finished it off with an escort card table with a salute to golf (since we were at a golf and country club) A special thanks to Casey from Hunter's Green, Natalie from Extravaganza Productions for the pipe/drape and lighting and the fabulous photos by Carrie Wildes Photography!
